Engels-Haus in Wuppertal - Restoration of windows and exterior doors

The "Engels-Haus" in Wuppertal, which belongs to the so-called historical centre and houses an exhibition on the life and work of Friedrich Engels, was built in 1775 and was one of the 5 houses owned by the family. It was here that the German philosopher, industrialist and communist revolutionary Friedrich Engels grew up. It's not his birthplace.

As a result of renovation work due to structural defects and the partially dilapidated condition, the building was cleared out and will be temporarily closed to the public from 1 June 2018. Among others, the Mühlenhof RestaurierungenGmbH is involved in the extensive renovation and restoration work. Our task is the restoration of wooden windows.
