is like our community a well performing teamwork of most versatile excellences.
Since November 2003 we have been working in the fields of preservation of historical monuments and restoration of wooden objects in cooperation with freelance restorers of various specialties. Thus, adjacent areas can be covered, and projects of larger scale can be carried out without any problems. We receive additional intellectual support from doctoral graduates in architectural and art history from various institutions, such as the Westphalian Open Air Museum in Detmold.
The former mill estate "Huser Mühle" in the valley of the Altenau near Paderborn, which has been inhabited by the Schulte family for 300 years, gave the appropriate name impulse for the foundation of the 2-man consortium "Mühlenhof-Restaurierungen", which was still run as a GbR at the time.
In the following years, we have grown steadily and have been operating as a limited liability company since 2013, celebrating our 20th founding anniversary in 2023. We have a regular staff of over 20 skilled workers and trainees.
Other "highlights" in 2017 were the awarding of the Federal Prize for Professional Achievement in Historic Preservation and the move to our newly renovated workshop hall in 2021, which is tailored to our needs.
We hope to be able to arouse your interest in our work on the following pages. Please visit us in our workshop or on one of our current construction sites.
